I joined Hopscotch in the idea stage and over the course of next 6 years, I set up various teams and led different functions throughout. I was a part of the leadership team that reported into the CEO during the entire period.Major highlights :a) Setting up the China crossborder business (the first Indian company to build a JIT business model from China) - Building the business model, supply chain and scaling it up with P&L management. Hiring teams in China to lead various set ups and helping the business scale up to be the major share of overall business.b) Leading the entire Product org (close to a year) - building the product roadmap, scaling the product - tech teams, app re-design and pricing productsc) Leading the Supply Chain Product org for most of the tenure - Building the backbone of Pricing, Inventory, Fulfilment, Logistics and Customer Support set ups internallyd) Driving important business functions of Inventory, Pricing, Reordering and Liquidation e) Leading and building the earlier analytics and digital marketing set ups - from setting the first adwords campaign for Hopscotch to building the analytics backbone

I worked with the Equity Capital Markets desk, involved with the origination and execution of US IPOs and FOs. Worked on creating reports and analyzed primary equity issuance based on issuer-specific situations, such as bankruptcy emergence, spin-offs, carve-outs, sponsor monetizations, dual share classes, withdrawn cases and cross listings.

Active trader in US and European fixed income derivatives.Formulated different strategies (spreads and butterflies); Took positions using various mean reversion hedging strategies and with the help of technical tools to identify trends and opportunities in the various markets and instruments.

Worked with Nanotechnology Group, Flinders University, Adelaide. The research consisted of working with carbon nanotubes, which were subjected to various experiments that included cutting them, functionalizing them, coating with polymers and introduction of various groups to the nanotubes by different processes. The nanotubes were characterized using TEM, FT-IR and UV-vis.
