Delivery of business applications & services:• Migration of policy administration system on .Net platform – Collaborated with functional directors & IT developers for requirements & user acceptance testing sign off, leading to on-time roll-out in 12 months. This resulted in 10% saving on IT costs towards running old system.• Self Service kiosks for motor insurance – Involved in business analysis, vendor selection, development and implementation of kiosks to sell motor insurance policies using SOAP web-service. Using agile, set up a working group, built project plan, monitored resource requirements, conducted quality reviews and incorporated changes in each sprint to ensure solution match the requirement. This has resulted in 5% business growth • Using web-service capability, integrated one of the largest car dealer’s sales system with our core insurance system by analyzing the requirements and closing the gaps in the current processes which saved revenue leakage, improved efficiency and became one of the key factors for a long-term Client relationship. • Implemented a B2C website for sale of motor policy which increased the sales by 6%. The portal had online motor insurance quote & bind capability integrated with a secure payment gateway and police database for traffic fine violation check. • Project Managed delivery of enterprise wide MI system using QlikView and Microsoft SSIS & SSRS technology for operational reports and high-level management dashboards and other project documentation. Existing 300 reports were reduced to 80 resulting in better data management, lowered the cost and improved efficiency.Delivery of IT networking and infrastructure services• Set-up and commissioned 2 state of the art tier-II data centers with virtual servers, in-row cooling, redundant power & air con and environment monitoring systems keeping the information technology systems up and running at SLA levels of 98%. Was involved in specifying RFP & vendor evaluation. • Delivered Cisco IP telephony for over 200 users with a capability of inter-branch and inter-country unified communication capability which has resulted in costs savings of over 30% • Led the integration of the business systems and IT operations during the merger of my parent company with RSA, UK.
