Kathmandu-Terai (Madhesh) Fast-Track Expressway Road Project is a national pride project for the government of Nepal that is run under the Nepalese Army. The expressway of 72.5km has zero chainage at Khokana, Kathmandu, and ends at Nijgadh, Bara. This project's primary goal is to establish a direct link between Kathmandu Valley and the Terai region of Nepal, reducing the travel distance by 193 km and saving over four hours of travel time.I have been involved in this project under the consulting service through Yooshin J.V. and have been engaged in the design and drafting work of the road alignment and cross-sections, slope protection and RE Wall, River Training Works, and Hydrological Analysis.
