By considering a novel approach to the theoretically predicted charged Higgs boson, we aim to provide further insight into the existence of this particle.- Using a combination of C++ code with the ATLAS proprietary analysis framework as well as Python to parse over 10 petabytes of data and simulations to less than 4 gigabytes of data and simulations.- Utilising the Python pandas dataframe on the compressed dataset to achieve a fast analysis turnaround of the order of minutes.- Leading the analysis group by being the main point of contact to the wider ATLAS collaboration as well as consistently communicating research progress through presentations. - Fully documented the entire analysis process for verifying replicability as well as preparing for the publication of the analysis and the results obtained.

Contributed towards the Large Hadron Collider’s ATLAS detector upgrade through improving and adding module testing capabilities.- Added to existing Python software for the purpose of communicating and controlling electrical hardware for the testing of detector modules.- Built upon existing Python code to allow for simultaneous testing of detector modules, quadrupling the previous testing capacity of such modules. - Lead and significantly contributed to the design and implementation of the detector module microchip burn-in software and hardware, resulting in Brookhaven National Laboratory being the US leader in this quality control phase.- Conducted full electrical and quality control tests on detector modules constructed both internally and externally and regularly reported results to the wider ATLAS collaboration group.

Analysed and compared di-Jet correlations from proton-lead and proton-proton collisions within the CMS detector at the Large Hadron Collider.- Used C++ code to analyse over 1 petabyte of data collected from the CMS detector as well as over 1 petabyte of associated Monte-Carlo simulations.- Compared di-Jet correlations for proton-proton collisions and proton-lead collisions through over 15 associated variables in order to compare the resultant quark-gluon plasma after a collision. - Considered a novel classification of di-Jets which improves the speed of di-Jet classification by 10\% and provided recommendations on this novel classification implementation.
