My life and path are continually evolving. I have taught children in daycare centers and public schools, served as a Youth Pastor, and recently served as a youth Chaplain at camp. I spent seven years working in broadcast television (beginning as a part-time PA and ending as the Broadcasting Supervisor). During that time, I was also the Helpdesk Manager (and set up the procedures for it) and the Executive Assistant to the Director of Engineering. I then changed things up and became a Crochet Designer and Instructor. I have been published in magazines and books, and I have my own design line. I have taught one-on-one, small groups, and large groups at a retreat and a national conference. I also worked as a Technical Editor for a few clients. After seven years of doing that, I answered the call to ministry and went to seminary to get my Master of Divinity. During that time I worked as a Chaplain Intern and as a Student Minister. I have served two congregations as a half-time Minister and one as a Board Consultant. With colleagues from seminary, I helped launch a digital ministry. The pandemic put a bit of a hold on the project, but it is still in the works. I have served as Youth Staff for the denomination at General Assembly. I have also served on the Interfaith Council of Lake County and the Florida Unitarian Universalist Ministers Association chapter's Leadership Council.After completing my Doctor of Ministry this year, I find myself in the liminal space of possibly another change. I want to use my ministry skills to continue to help people, and I think that may not be in the traditional way anymore. My contracts end at the end of August 2024, and at that time, I will be free to begin the next part of my journey.
