I was a concert pianist until the age of 26. Following an accident that partially restricted movement in my right arm, I started working in medical diagnostics, quickly developing a particular interest in chronic diseases such as hypertension, asthma and diabetes. I have developed new technologies in these fields, but have also interested myself in the field of medical manufacturing, industrial design and problems faced by Asian manufacturing concerns. I live in Paris, France, where I run HealthWorks Global and LifeInA and also am a huge collector of medical antiques. I am an expert in the field of blood pressure management, diabetes, asthma and in the manufacturing of medical diagnostics devices.In 2009, I became involved in iHealth, a platform that takes all the signals of the body and translates them into a meaningful format using smartphones and tablets.
