Software Developer since 1987I started my career as professional software developer in October 1987. First, I programmed custom software, later I was responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of an ERP system for wholesale trade. Programming was done mostly in macro assembler (MASS70). From the mid-nineties onwards, I collaborated on creating two new ERP systems. The first one in Delphi, and after moving to a new employer, a second one in C++ and UML. Half a year, I spent in Belfast during those days. Afterwards, I switched to system programming (application and gui server + generic gui client) and Java. After joining SAP in 2004, I first programmed in the B1 environment in C++. A short time later, I moved to TREX and successively have been involved in the birth and rise of HANA. I have programmed in C++ ever since.
