My career working in the area of safety commenced 1997 in the Coal mining industry working in the open cut Coal mine at Leigh Creek South Australia, as a Safety Advisor and then Manager of OHS, Rehabilitation and Hygiene, covering the Mine Site, Township and Maintenance Sections.In 2008 I transferred to the Port Augusta Power Station as the OHS and Security Manager.I later accepted a position as Senior Safety Advisor with Nyrstar, Port Pire Smelters in 2011.In have a total of 16 years ‘experience in the safety industry ranging from culture change to heavy machinery, shutdowns, compliance and auditing to mention a few, I am self-motivated, systematic and passionate about safety..
