• Contracted by Google to deliver 12+ qualitative user research studies while collaborating with researchers, designers, product managers and engineers, which drove product strategy.• Improved client satisfaction through developing key relationships resulting in return requests for 5+ additional studies. • Developed cutting edge user interview technique which allows for client to contribute live to user interviews conducted in foreign languages anywhere around the globe. • Enabled team to increase efficiency by creating opportunities for knowledge sharing and standardizing our workflow system.

Worked with non-partisan group Voters Not Politicians to prototype a website allowing Michigan residents to submit maps of their Communities of Interest to the redistricting commision. Worked on a team of five to research the issue and interviewed users to gauge their understanding of the topic. Created an affinity diagram to synthsize the interviews and worked with team to create low fidelity wireframes in Balsamic and high fidelity wireframes in Figma. Created report including ideas for further research and next steps.

Semester long independent design project. Identified voting issue and ideated app to help registered voters better understand their ballot. Utilized many different UX methods (story mapping, wireframing, prototyping, personas, storyboarding) in process of creating a high fidelity prototype in Adobe Xd.

Created a user testing protocol evaluating Open Checkbook product prior to public release. Conducted 8 user testing interviews with citizens in Detroit and utilized different UX methods including creating personas and scenarios. Collaborated with group of School of Information students to create a report featuring key findings and design recommendations which was delivered to the City of Detroit’s Mayor’s Office CFO.
