I am serving as an adjunct lecturer for the Tissue Culture course at the Faculty of Pharmacy, UAD. In this role, I teach students the fundamentals and advanced techniques of plant tissue culture, including micropropagation, somatic embryogenesis, and callus culture. I also emphasized the application of plant tissue culture in biotechnology and the pharmaceutical industry, such as the production of edible vaccines, secondary metabolites, medicinal compounds, and bioactive substances from plants. My teaching integrated theoretical knowledge with practical skills, preparing students for careers in pharmaceutical biotechnology and plant-based drug development.

At IRIBB, I conducted extensive research in the plant biotechnology group and managed the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Services as a Technical Manager.In my research role, I contributed to securing numerous research grants from both internal and external funding sources. In some projects, I have led the team, while in others, I have contributed as a valuable team member, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative spirit in achieving research goals. As Technical Manager, I managed a team of four laboratory staff and technicians to perform analyses and services related to biochemistry and molecular biology, often supporting molecular breeding analysis for multiple crops.

Responsible for ensuring the development of disease-resistant vegetable varieties and implementing seed health management systems. My role included:1. Conducted routine screenings for disease resistance in cucurbits and Solanaceae crops, addressing a range of diseases including bacterial, fungal, and various viruses. This was conducted based on tasks assigned by breeders and other departments.2. Led a team of technical staff in both greenhouse and laboratory settings, managed seed health protocols in collaboration with the Seed Research Department and provided training on good agricultural practices and integrated pest management. 3. Developed and improved methodologies for managing newly reported vegetable diseases and performed routine disease surveys at the research station to identify causal pathogens.4. Conducted routine disease surveys at the research stations and identified causal pathogens by microscopy, serology, physiology, and molecular approach.5. Oversaw a collaborative trial with the World Vegetable Center (WVC) Taiwan, focusing on screening genetic resources for resistance to anthracnose in chili peppers in Indonesia.
