After a few years in the forest industry I began my career as a professional photographer. Beginning in Edmonton, then Grande Prairie AB, I grew the company into a thriving business, servicing over 230 schools in four provinces, northern BC, Alberta, Yukon, and the NWT. Photography included schools, graduations, family & sports. My adventures have taken me across Canada, the United States, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Europe, and Africa. In addition to our photography business, in 2000, we founded Kilombero Farms Ltd., with six Canadian investors and 2 local partners. My role as managing director has been interesting, educational, and full of adventure. Kilombero Farms is 1000 acres of fertile land located in the Rift Valley, Tanzania Africa, producing rice, beans and palm oil, providing jobs and supporting the local economy.In 2004 I returned to Vancouver Island as a Lifetouch Canada territory manager. After parting ways with in 2017, I chose to partner with, Canadian owned Edge Imaging.In 2020 I became the local owner of Getintheloop a shop local digital advertising platform.On a personal level, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, traveling, hiking, fishing, skiing, boating, camping, woodworking, and most recently scuba diving.
