For My Final Year Project, I sparked up a partnership between Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham and BullWork Mobility through a formal MOU, This collaboration provides an opportunity to tackle the challenges of vision-based automation in agricultural and warehouse environments. This collaboration will involve the following tasks:-- Apply pure vision-based automation, including object detection, lane following, and depth mapping.-- Test and integrate path planning algorithms like A* and Dijkstra for complex environments.-- Develop 3D point cloud maps using stereo cameras for detailed environment mapping.-- Establish a benchmarking framework for system performance and reliability validation.-- Generate dynamic 3D point clouds with synchronized navigation systems using Nav2.-- Implement camera trajectory tracking algorithms for precise navigation.

As an AI Automation Intern @Bullwork Mobility, I performed the following tasks:-- Developed an object detection logic for a monocular camera by combining YOLO and Midas models.-- Built a stereo camera setup involving camera calibration, producing disparity maps, and depth maps.-- Developed point cloud mapping of a single frame based on information from the stereo camera depth map.-- Implemented row crop navigation using basic CV2 and semantic segmentation, enabling vehicles to navigate between plant rows without collisions.-- Developed object detection code by combining depth maps from stereo cameras with YOLO model to identify objects.-- Assisted in testing way point navigation by performing IMU sensor calibration and optimising its placement on the vehicle to minimize the effects of EMF

As an exchange scholar at @Ritsumeikan University, I performed the following tasks:-- Learned about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a focus on SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being.-- Delivered a presentation titled "Balancing Technology for Mental Well-being" at the 26th World Youth Meeting in Kyoto, highlighting the need for responsible technology use.-- Conducted field surveys aimed at understanding the impact of technology on mental well-being, gathering valuable data for research.-- Engaged in discussions and collaborations during the Kyoto meeting to further global awareness of balancing mental health and digital advancement.
