While I began my career as a pharmacist, I focused on market research during a fellowship at Rutgers University, where I joined Janssen Biotech (then Ortho Biotech Products) as a Post-Doctoral Fellow. My primary role encompassed collecting qualitative market data to identify industry trends, which I then aggregated and curated to provide robust reports that drove the sales of pharmaceuticals. My career took an upward trajectory as I progressed from a Post-Doctoral Fellow Associate Manager, Market Research to Product Specialist in Oncology, Senior Specialist, and Area Business Specialist, before transitioning from a sales role to a District Manager role. Highly influential, I received more than 20 awards for sales, leadership, and managerial prowess. Passionate about pharmaceuticals and market research, I found I always gravitated towards the business side, rather than the scientific. I made a career decision to join my family's technology rental business, ABCOMRENTS, that my father began in our basement. I leveraged what I learned at Johnson & Johnson to grow the company - surging revenue 200% of the baseline in six years.
