I worked for GE for 40 years in many capacities. I attended many management courses over the years, I lectured for American Materials Assoc. and internally for GE teaching procedures. In my current retired state, I volunteer to develop materials, projects for residents at Senior Living

I am now retired from GE. During my tenure with them (over 39 years) I performed many duties under various capacities. My early experience was in accounting and payroll. I moved on to purchasing and inventory control. There I implemented the first inventory system in the plant I was working in at the time. Later, I worked with Information Technology to build and implement the first personal computer system to handle.purchasing needs, inventory levels and information flow to the billing department. At the same time I served as an internal audit for processes and procedures at both domestic and overseas plants then held by GE. I have used used most the software such as Word, Excel, Power Point,Word Perfect and several others. Even though I am now retired I still give presentations, teach computer skills to senior citizens and am involved in developing programs for volunteers for my senior home. In addition, I write a monthly journal and biographies on residents of my home. I established and head up a volunteer program that is directed at providing services not offered by our center. I have had a long, interesting career ranging from accounting, production and all aspects of material management for multiple plants.In the process, I traveled extensively for GE going to 26 countries and 49 of the 50 US..
