I have recently completed my doctoral work on the topic of "Electronic and Thermoelectric Properties of some Transition Metal Compounds using DFT and DFT+U Approaches". In the mean time of doctoral work, I studied the electronic properties such as, band structure, density of states, Fermi surface, and thermoelectric properties such as, Seebeck coefficients, power factor, electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and figure-of-merit. For the thesis work I have worked on binary transition metal oxides, Cu2O, NbO2 and RuO2. Furthermore, I have also investigate CuH, ZnSb, and BeMgC etc.An interface has been developed to investigate the transport properties using the E-k spectra of first-principles calculation. Which gives the compatible energy file to the second generation code to study the transport properties. I had UGC-BSR fellowship (2015-2020) for my research work. I also supported by the international travel support fellowship by SERB to attained a workshop in Halle, Germany.
