I like to solve problems. As a teenager I have always been curious to find answers to the most pressing questions. I have been able to quickly discover the persistent problem and device a strategic solution, whether it is for fabricating a photoelectrochemical cell that increases hydrogen production notably or finding new ways to increase solar cell efficiency.After completing my undergraduate studies, I was accepted to Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Netherlands to pursue my Master's in Electrical Engineering. As of 2020, TU Delft has been ranked in the top 15 engineering and technology universities in the world. Here, I was evaluated on electrical technologies & concepts (power systems & machines), renewables and its effect on our futures sustainable and economic growth. My consistent performance and my motivation to pursue a path in renewables & power systems allowed me to conduct research towards increasing solar cell efficiency through bandgap energy grading. For a year, I conducted my research working as a Graduate Student Researcher in the Netherlands on solar cell development and process innovation, which upon completion I successfully defended before a respectful thesis committee.After graduating from TU Delft, I returned to India, where I was offered to work at Team Sustain Ltd, one of the oldest and leading clean tech power systems EPC company in the world that designs and delivers tailor made clean tech power solutions for all key sectors across the globe. Team Sustain has amassed its reputation by being involved in some of the major clean tech projects and has won many awards, including the Intersolar award multiple times. As an R&D Engineer I use my skill set to bring marketable and lucrative solutions to technical challenges faced in the field of power systems and renewables. The domestic and international projects I have been involved in range from designing power systems at the residential, commercial and utility scale to developing a power system for vehicles & boats that make use of photovoltaic and energy storage solutions. I also interact with stakeholders to achieve project/market specific requirements.I am passionate about the intersection of renewables, power systems & transmission, business and social responsibility. I also love travelling around the world, volunteering and engaging in discussions on the latest technological innovations and emerging market trends.
