I have a total work experience spanning over 2 decades in the pharmaceutical industry in sales, marketing, business development & strategic planning functions. Starting my career as a Medical Representative in 1985 at Chennai, India, I moved through line functions in Sales into Product Management in the first 7 years. For the next 5 years, I had diverse experience, as part of the Liaison Office Operations of Pharmacia India, in handling Licensees for Strategic Business Development, Training & Marketing Services. During the subsequent 4 years, working at the headquarters of Pharmacia India in Gurgaon as Marketing Manager, I led a team of Product Managers and Sales Personnel on an All-India basis. From Nov 2001 till April 2003, I was responsible for delivering top tier returns for Pharmacia - China working at the Head-quarters of the China operations in Shanghai as Marketing Director. Upon completion of the global acquisation of Pharmacia by Pfizer in April 2003, I assumed the position of Director – Business Development & Strategic Planning for Pfizer – China. In Aug 2004, I relocated from Shanghai to Ayutthaya, Thailand to take up a regional assignment as Director-Pharmaceutical Business Development for Capsugel (Division of Pfizer) to cover the Asia region.Goals: To provide an exciting environment that combines empowerment, freedom & fun with opportunities for growth for the individual employee as well as the organization.
