Over the 11 years working at AHEAD (formerly RoundTower Technologies merged 9/20) I held key roles in hundreds of customer projects. The first 2 years I worked on the Managed Services team working closely with several large customers managing global VMware Environments and supporting VMware Site Recovery Manager. One customer was hit by a datacenter outage from hurricane Sandy in late 2012. Our team worked diligently over 2 days to restore services at their disaster recovery site successfully minimizing millions of dollars in lost revenue. In May of 2014 my role transitioned to post sales delivery. On the delivery team I specialized in many Virtualization products. Many of these products I became the subject matter expert for best practice implementation, design, scoping, and management. Frequently filling in for Core SE team where specialization is needed on presales engagements as well as post sales implementation and assessments. These products include but not limited to VMware vSphere, VMware vCenter, VMware Site Recovery Manager, Zerto, Cisco UCS, DellEMC RecoverPoint, Pure Storage, NetApp, VxRail, Dell PowerFlex, Automation with PowerShell, VMware vRealize Operations (Now Aria) and more. There are several large scale projects I have been a part of. Most recently and notably I lead several projects for new customer datacenter buildouts and datacenter consolidations using Zerto. One project for example included migrating ~1,200 servers and ~1 PB of data for a hospital over a weekend. Several other projects included ~5,000 VM migrations consolidating 12 datacenter locations. Previously, Technical Services Manager and Security Manager for the Information Technology Department at Seven Corners, Inc. Responsible for managing the Technical Services Team of 5 analysts. The team provides 24/7/365 service and support for 140+ Seven Corners employees on desktops and mobile devices, 110+ servers, 25+ Inbound call center groups, 50+ internally hosted custom websites, 15 email domains, and all other domain services and applications. The team has 30 or more defined projects for new applications and infrastructure upgrades. Mike is currently working on Virtualization Phase 2, which will include VMware Configuration Manager and deployment of a 40 seat VDI pilot, planning phase 3 & 4, which will include deployment of a 150 seat VDI for production and a high availability off site co-location.Member of several local user groups and Leader of the Indy VMware User Group.
