I worked as a babysitter for some families in Barcelona, usually people that came to visit the city. I have a lot of love for all the kids that I cared for and always had a good relationship with the parents.

I worked at the AirBnb project. My job was to help the customers with their questions about their profiles, listings, bookings and other issues via phone calls or emails.

I helped 3 kids with their English practice. They were 6,7 and 10 years old. I used to spend some hours with them twice a week and take them to the park, assist them with their homework, planned fun activities and games, played with them all while motivating them to speak in English.

Initially I was a bilingual receptionist and my responsibility was organising the office, buying office supplies, answering calls and emails and forwarding them to the right person. I also did travel arrangements (booking hotels, airplane tickets, setting up the roaming services for my colleagues cellphones and so on). Later on I started to collaborate with the office manager being responsible for the expenses reports, sending it to the accounting team from both Chile and Sao Paulo offices, sending and receiving documents to our partners and clients. I was available to solve any kind of problem that my colleagues might have. I learned most of what I know working for this company and it's an experience that I value a lot.

This was my first experience as a Bilingual Receptionist. I was responsible for managing all the reservations through phone, email and on the Booking.com platform. I was there to answer any questions about the hostel and give information about my hometown Sao Paulo. I was responsible for the check in and check out, I made sure the hostel was flawless and tidy. I helped people with their travel planning and touristic routes sometimes. I helped to organise events for the hostel, worked on translating their website content to English and I was there for anything. It was a great experience, I made a lot of friends and I learned how to deal with all types of people and situations.

The au pair program was something that I always had interest in doing because I love kids. I enjoy working with kids and teaching them good values. It was also a great opportunity to live in NY for a year and improve my English. I met amazing people on this journey, it's an unforgettable experience.
