I've had the honor of working in higher education environments for many years and have experience in career services, student activities, international education, recruiting, residence life, community outreach, academic affairs, admissions and campus operations. Working with students in higher education at a variety of public, private, non-profit and for profit institutions is a truly rewarding career path that has taken me all over the world! My goal is to help not only students but also organizations thrive! I love to help people build their confidence as managers and leaders in a variety of organizations. As I pursue my PhD in organizational learning, performance and change, I hope to inspire others by using a variety of organizational development techniques, strategy and planning.Currently, I work closely with chairs and professional staff implementing grants that help students find meaningful careers while reducing equity gaps and increasing educational attainment and transfer in the STEM fields. I've also had the opportunity to work closely staff from across the country overseeing areas like IT, admissions and working on new program development.I am actively involved with retention initiatives, accreditation, grants, placements statistics, workforce partnerships and cross disciplinary academic program development. I work with our campus senior leadership and Deans on several projects including apprenticeships, STEM programs, employer relations and students engagement and satisfaction. I've also served on the campus senior leadership teams since 2012.
