I was raised bilingually in German and English, by attending the German School in London up until high school. Then I changed to the British system of education and I completed my A-Levels and went to university in an English-speaking environment. Hence, I am a native speaker and writer of both languages. On leaving college, I concentrated on gaining Japanese language skills and understanding the culture by living in Japan for nearly 5 years both studying and working as a civil servant. I gained a 2.1 BA degree in Japanese from SOAS University, London. Owing to my background I have aspired to live and work in Germany and resided in Berlin for over 2 years, where I set up WAO-Services. I have a wealth of experience in the media, government, health and retail fields and am freelancing presently in various areas.Currently living in Liverpool to set up Sugar and Dice, Liverpool's first board game cafe - a place for people to meet and make friends whilst playing board games over deliciously locally sourced food and drink.
