Currently, I work as a loan reviewer at Kookmin Bank Cambodia, mainly in charge of following up and reviewing construction loan by on-site visit, ensuring the completion of documents and the purpose and practicing are matched correctly after loan disbursement, daily checking on Overdraft and Fixed loan to examine the borrowers yet make late payment, monthly checking on the overdraft accounts to ascertain the borrowers’ overdraft account to exercise both sides of double entry, and reassess the capacity of existing borrowers and update the current application in loan extension.

At Cathay United Bank (Cambodia), I worked as an assistant of loan manager. My daily routine was to help my supervisor prepare documents to compile financial data and to assess feasibility of each loan application. From the process, I learned how to analyze each loan case by understanding and examining customer’s background, business, and industry outlook to make comprehensive research and to negotiate with customers for terms and conditions. Furthermore, I also acted as communicating bridge or even needed to deal with clients by myself when it came to local customers since my supervisor was a foreigner. With the experience, I had not only learned practical skills at loan but also had strengthened my soft power, which was the ability to face difficulties and to perform well under pressure, which I believe will make me a successor in the future. Furthermore, I also have strong background at computer skill particularly in Microsoft office.

Head Office

At BIDC bank, my first position was at call centre department under head office. From the job, I learned and knew how to instantly feedback and to solve all customers' problems, letting customers feel comfortable with bank’s service. To get more experience and to improve myself, I proposed to change position to work at customer service department. At this position I learned so many things such as controlling ATM cards and Visa cards, providing information to customers when they faced card problems as well as providing loan product information.
