    The Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) was founded in 1966 as the first area studies center at NYU. Today it is one of the premier centers of its kind in the country. Together with Columbia University’s Institute of Latin American Studies (ILAS), CLACS is a federally-designated Title VI National Resource Center (NRC), through which CLACS supports faculty and student research abroad as well as faculty working groups and three faculty-directed regional area studies initiatives. The Events Manager at CLACS gets to host extensive public programming, from public lectures to film series and a range of events and workshops for K-12 teachers. Fellows in the Madrid program collaborate with Servicio Doméstico Activo (SEDOAC), a domestic workers' organization composed mainly of migrant women from Latin America. Additionally, the Fellow carries out independent research projects. I wrote about the Latin American diaspora in Spain and the demographic changes that have ensued over the last two decades.

Created documents in Russian, Ukrainian, and Polish that were disseminated online and posted around Warsaw's metro area. These documents featured real anecdotes of migrant women experiencing sexual harassment in their place of work.
