As a Gift and Data Processing Specialist at JFCS, I have been supporting the organization's fundraising efforts for over two years. I manage donor data and process gifts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, such as the development, finance, and program teams, has been just as important as personalizing acknowledgements to donors. I have also had the opportunity to train colleagues and interns on data entry and gift processing procedures and best practices.I am passionate about human resources and have recently completed a certificate in Human Resources Management from UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education. I have learned about the essential functions and responsibilities of HR, such as recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to a role in HR, where I can foster an inclusive workplace culture and create learning and development opportunities for employees.
