 Lead for the TiVo Web Portal/Web Based DVR project. Assess current processes and test coverage, validate proper test coverage and design improvements as needed. Help drive the functional test strategy for Mobile applications and Web Portal products; covering both improvements and maintenance of existing test methodology Review PRD and technical specifications Contribute to overall test plan Develop well defined and repeatable test cases for assigned projects Review QE generated bugs, screen for completeness, escalate as appropriate Work with DevOps, Server Engineering, SW Production, and IT to ensure proper infrastructure is in place for testing Coordinate with product management, development, QA and IT to deploy tested changes to production Attend meetings with project development to foster information exchange, ascertain project risks, and escalate concerns or blocking issues Work with QE teams to ascertain lab, equipment and infrastructure needs for project Serves as liaison with overseas contract test groups (along with QE manager)

 Responsible for black/grey box testing of the Spark Pay Mobile Payments platform on Android and iOS devices as well as the Web Dashboard using multiple internet browsers. Work closely with Product Development and Management teams to understand priorities, enhancement requests, defects and to resolve issues. Open, test and track defects/enhancements using the internal bug and test management system. Write test cases, UI specifications and beta test plans based on business requirements that are provided from product teams.  Contribute to the establishment of standards and procedures for use case and product development materials. Recommend improvements or revision of both mobile and web application to Product Development team to better enhance/improve the product.

 Analyze functionality, usability, and performance of the TiVo UI. Responsible for the testing of TiVo Central functionalities including 3rd party apps such as Blockbuster, Netflix and YouTube. Execute testing projects and assist in general product qualifications. Review product requirement documents, functional specifications, and involved in developing test strategy, test plan, test cases. Attend meetings with project development to foster information exchange, ascertain project risks, and escalate concerns or blocking issues. Attend weekly bug scrubs. Help recreate and track down failure analysis issues. Validate integrity of new features.

 Responsible for: basic acceptance, functional, and regression testing of Symantec Endpoint Encryption software products (client-server application). Report, track, and verify defects using Mantis defect tracking databases. Develop and implement test plans and test cases based on functional specifications. Report test results and progress using HP Quality Center and Perforce management tools. Responsible for environment setup: Group Policies creation, GPO based installation/upgrades and policy updates. Work closely with Technical Support and Customer Engineering to ensure all customers escalations have been entered into bug tracking database and reproduced. Communicate with QA and development teams to clarify requirements and design specifications. Verify bugs fixed in newly released builds. Analyze product requirements for discrepancies and provide feedback with required changes. Responsible for testing assorted USB Devices and Card Readers for compatibility with product.
