 Responsible for: basic acceptance, functional, and regression testing of Symantec Endpoint Encryption software products (client-server application). Report, track, and verify defects using Mantis defect tracking databases. Develop and implement test plans and test cases based on functional specifications. Report test results and progress using HP Quality Center and Perforce management tools. Responsible for environment setup: Group Policies creation, GPO based installation/upgrades and policy updates. Work closely with Technical Support and Customer Engineering to ensure all customers escalations have been entered into bug tracking database and reproduced. Communicate with QA and development teams to clarify requirements and design specifications. Verify bugs fixed in newly released builds. Analyze product requirements for discrepancies and provide feedback with required changes. Responsible for testing assorted USB Devices and Card Readers for compatibility with product.
