Projects done: Pilot Li-ion battery energy storage system for the ancillary services. This pilot 1,0 MW/2,25 MWh grid-scale energy storage system provides FCR (frequency containment reserve) for the Ukrainian national TSO NEC Ukrenergo. I have initiated the project and led the project team from the planning phase, procurement to deployment and integration, and operation and maintenance. In 2021 system successfully passed the market participation test by TSO first time in Ukraine. During wartime, the battery was reconfigured to support power plant black start and auxiliary power to protect the DTEK asset.Microgrid for the UNIT.City business park. I supported DTEK Grids’ efforts to build the research microgrid (PV, energy storage, EMS, and EV charging stations) at one UNIT.City buildings. My project responsibilities were energy storage sizing and initial requirements, factory acceptance tests at the manufacturer site (INTILION GmbH), site acceptance, and commissioning.

YUNASKO is registered in the UK and runs R&D and Pilot Plant operations in Ukraine.The company offers ultracapacitors with proprietary technology that allows for a product that is 2-3 times smaller for a certain set of requirements. The overall result is a significant cost advantage over competitors. It creates a superior opportunity for the company to conquer the substantial market share within the next 5 to 10 years.

GdeDengi (“Где Деньги”) is online bookkeeping service for private entrepreneurs. Vadim is bootstrapping the company and taking care of operations, sales and marketing. He also working closely with Chief Technology Officer on development and product features roadmap.
