I worked in a small team with a client who is the global leader in providing innovative software-defined networking, cloud, and security solutions. I worked together with one Go engineer, two DevOps engineers, and one front-end developer.Tech stack: Golang, Docker, K8s, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, Jenkins, Consul My primary responsibilities were to support and maintain supportability tools for cloud security solutions. These tools were used by other programmers or support engineers to debug common problems related to network connectivity, bandwidth, and latency.

The project was a social network for sharing interest in golf. I worked as a Backenddeveloper with 1 Web Frontend developer and a couple of IOS engineers.Tech stack: Golang, Gin, Auth0, CI/CD, AWSMy primary responsibilities were to design and write REST API for the new socialnetworking platform from scratch using Golang, Gin, Auth0 to delegate auth flowand the cutting-edge database SurrealDB. I’ve built CI/CD and containerized theapplication using Docker. I had to work with a lot of cloud services and third-partyintegrations, like AWS SQS, AWS EC2, AWS S3, etc.This project sharpened my engineering skills in Go programming language, andsystem design, as well as refreshed my knowledge of cloud platforms, and gave mean understanding of the graph database’s key concepts.

The project was an admin dashboard for tracking oil and gas extraction statistics. Iworked in a team of 5 Full Stack developers and 1 DevOps.Tech stack: Node.js, Express.js, Go, Gin, PostgreSQL, pl/SQL, React, Redux, ReduxSaga, MUI.I migrated the backend part of our application from Apollo GraphQL to REST APIand Express.js, refactored existing logic, significantly improved the performance ofthe PostgreSQL DB queries, and wrote a couple of custom pl/SQL functions. Also, Iwrote a small API with Go using the Gin framework.On the frontend side, I developed new components using Material UI, participatedin refactoring the logic of building table and chart components, and fixed plenty ofbugs related to Redux Saga. Last, I significantly improved the application'sperformance using memoization and logic decomposition.This project gave me valuable experience and understanding of how to maintain and keep upto-date legacy projects and refactor existing modules and optimization concepts from thedatabase side as well as gave me a short, but valuable introduction to the Go ecosystem.

The project was a company’s website. I worked in a team of 3 Full Stack developers,1 UI/UX designer, and 1 QA.I migrated the website from outdated WordPress and PHP to modern technologies.Also, I’ve built CI/CD and containerized the application using Docker & DockerCompose. I was performing a code review, suggesting ideas to improve and refactorexisting code, and ideas to implement new functionality in the app.Through this project, I improved my soft skills and ability to work in a team. Imastered different design patterns, and backend development flow in general,embraced Typescript best practices, and gained skills in Docker.

I was a student (intern) working on the lectures, tests assignments and practical tasks.During the course, I had to work closely with the mentors, to be sure, that I was following the best practises, avoiding the fundamental mistakes, and writing clean codeDuring the first part of the course sharpened core skills, such as Javascript, HTML, CSS. Second part of the course was more focused on React ecosystem as well as Backend development with Node.js and Express.
