As a Business Development Director at Hexagon SI I was active in the Public Safety sector in the MEA region. With my vast ICT knowledge I am defining new solutions for the call-taking and dispatching of the emergency services.

Benelux

As a Business Development Manager at Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure I was active in the Public Safety and Utilities & Communication (U&C) sector in the Benelux. With my vast ICT knowledge I am defining new solutions for the call-taking and dispatching of the emergency services (Astrid, 100, 101, 112) as well as stat-of-the-art GEO solutions for the U&C market.In order to do so I am aligning all marketing, sales and pre-sales activities.

Together with the System Integration team I looked for new challenging projects for the Fire Brigades in Belgium as well as for the Public Transport sector in the Netherlands.By defining new solutions for those sectors we were able to convince some major accounts of the advantages of deploying new technologies.

Responsible for the Market Development Department (MDD).MDD has for objective to open “new” business markets and make Axen become a notoriety in the IT area.

My role was to create a company wide consultant support structure based on the values of AXEN (Cohesion, Wellbeing and Professionalism).To reach this objective I started several projects that have been grouped, afterwards, into several “AMS services”: Trainings, Expertise Centre, Internal Projects & Events, Project Support Office (based on PMI), Coaching & Career Support, Newsletter and IMAX.As the responsible for AMS, I have a coordinating position (over about 40 consultants). On top of that, I also have operational responsibilities, mainly the follow up of all current internal and external / client projects, as well as evaluating and coaching ±80 consultants. I am also accompanying all evaluations while supporting/coaching all our managers in their “management” role.

Assignments:- Interim & Project Manager.- “Information Economics (INEC)”, CMM, INEC and Project Management workshops/trainings at Vlerick school of Management, IIR, KVIV and IFBD.- Implementation of “Balanced Scorecards 4 ICT”.- Co-founder of ITSMF Belgium (ITIL).- Organise “IT project Management” and "ERP" survey with seminar in cooperation with the Vlerick school of Management.

Ross is an ERP package software supplier. My role was to implement the ERP software and to configure the modules according to the requirements negotiated with the customers. I was also the POC for all internal and external ICT related questions.
