Qualified CA in November 2016.I'm working in Indirect Tax line (GST, Customs) of division since May 2017. It includes advisory and compliance as well. As regards advisory/consultancy, my work includes: - Advice on indirect tax issues in relation to transactions being undertaken. - advice on existing/proposed contracts from indirect tax perspective - advice on key amendments/updates in IDT matters - assistance in drafting of responses/replies to notices issued by authorities -handling client's queries relating to GST, -drafting client specific reports on GST etc. As regards compliance, the work includes: -preparing data required to file GST returns -reviewing the data for various validations basis GST law. - generating GST payment challan -review of input register -Filing GST return on GST portal Also, I have worked on analysis of indirect tax litigations so as to provide risk exposure to the Company at the time of finalization of financial statements. Good experience in drafting PPT reports as well. Industry handled: Manufacturing / trading / service .I did my articleship from Deloitte Haskins & Sells in Statutory Audit Division.During articleship, I had been engaged in different assignments ranging from Stock count to Audits of different Listed and Non-listed companies. Areas covered by me included Creditors Ageing Analysis, Fixed Assets, Revenue Testing, Expense Testing, Statutory Dues Checking, Fixed Deposits Checking , Variance Analysis, confirmation Control , tax and legal compliances, control testing, finalization of Balance Sheet etc.
