I love business!I have over 17 years of experience in building startups and excelling at providing only the best customer service possible in any business I get into.After getting my feet wet in multiple business endeavors, I found my true passion when I started Five Star Data Recovery in 2015. Here we specialize in recovering data from hard drives, solid state drives, servers, raids, smartphones, tablets, and pretty much anything that stores data.The company started out with 2 employees, in a small 600 square foot facility specializing in just computer repair, then over the years, expanded to over 4,000 square feet with a state of the art Clean Room and Laboratory to handle any type of data recovery case. We no longer offer computer repair services. We are strictly a Data Recovery Only company. Currently, we have 6 employees and as the company grows, we're always keeping our eye out for motivated, driven and intelligent Engineers to hire.Customers always ask me how I got into such a niche business. Back in 2014, my mom had dropped her Western Digital External hard drive with all of our childhood photos, organized by month and year, from the day we were born (she loves taking pictures). After the drop, the drive started making unusual clicking sounds. So I called around to get some prices to see what it could cost to get the data off the drive. I was blown away by the absurd prices and horrible customer service (no compassion toward the situation).So I started digging around to see how I can get into the industry. It was definitely a challenge, but I never gave up and also found the right resources and people to help me get to where we are today. After 2 years, we were able to recover 85% of the data from my mom's drive. Her happiness to get her data back was priceless.And this is what drives me every single day. My customers always tell us that we're not just engineers, but we're also therapists. We truly enjoy what we do and handle each and every case as though it was ours. Once we solve a case and recover the data, the appreciation from the customer is priceless. This is something I could see myself doing forever.To keep up with the newest technologies and devices, we travel to Europe multiple times per year and receive training from the best Engineers in the world. Although at times its overwhelming, we love the knowledge.
