I’ve always had a natural curiosity for machinery and robotics. As a child, I loved taking things apart figuring out how things were supposed to work. My passion for machine automation continued to develop and I soon obtained a mechatronics engineering degree from the Swiss German University (SGU). The knowledge obtained was used in practice working for large companies like Siemens and Asea Brown Bovery (ABB). I finished post-graduate studies while working in Dalian, China. Today, I’m still doing what I love. As a lead mechanical engineer for a semi-conductor machine manufacturer, I create state-of-the-art solutions and solve some of the most complex problems facing the electronic ceramic industry.Successful projects and achievements during my time in this role include:- Spearheaded the design for multiple highly automated machinery used in the production of ceramic capacitors, semi conductors, and production line. - Successfully managed a team of mechanical engineers and streamlining better management processes. When I’m not working on mechanical engineering projects, I’m either spending time with my family or keeping busy with service work for the community.
