 Assisting to DPA and Technical superintendents to Vessels Management, Procurement and Manpower Management. Assisting to DPA and CSO for maintaining the Safety Management System (ISM Code), ISPS Code and MLC Code requirements on board all fleet vessels and in office DOC audit. Assisting DPA and Technical superintendents to comply DGS, MMD & Classification societies related works and various audits like SMC, ISPS, MLC, FSI/GI, Annuals/ Intermediates/ Renewal surveys of vessels. Strategic Planning, monitoring and implementation of Vessels Planned Maintenance Schedule (PMS) as per maker’s instructions, company policy, classification society, flag-state, IMO, SOLAS, other regulatory requirements and execution of company driven improvement projects, CSM/SSM machineries overhauling and troubleshoot and Dry docking. 18 months sea service has been served onboard vessel “Geo Hindsagar” to prepare vessel as per the charter’s requirement and to monitor the seismic and marine operations during the project period. Handling activities, working out various requirements with respect to facilities, utilities, equipment, manpower & monitoring overall operations. Visiting vessels and attending technical problems of vessel. Arranging shore supports/ workshops for dry dock hot works, underwater blasting, paintings, valves overhauling, etc. Monitoring and handling all the activities before and during the entire dry dock period like underwater/tanks/decks steel renewal hot works, stern tube/ shafting/ Bow Thrusters/ Stern Thrusters overhauling work, various machineries maintenance and repair works. Exploring/Ordering new/previous vendors/suppliers for said requirements within strategic management to Organization standards and budget. Cost estimation/evaluation/negotiation for the particular work/materials. Taking fall-up with vendors for timely delivery and ensuring the quality of the material.
