My work as an operator:When the deal is fixed, i take over and oversees the more specific terms and conditions of the vessel’s voyage. As an Operator, i am organised, solution-oriented and service-minded. Always keep a close dialogue with captains, ports and authorities and handles documents about the voyage. Having a fundamental knowledge about contracts, vessels, bunker consumption, ports and geographical conditions to optimise the voyage and meet the customers’ requirements.Work Profile:Handling Vessel operation and Post Fixtures- Responsible for ensuring that the vessels voyage is performed as per charter party and quick turnaround in ports- Preparation of laytime statement on completion of each voyage.- Analyzing and Negotiating for Best PDA with port agency.- Send voyage instructions to master upon vessel fixture and also handle bunker requirement.- Handling various bulk commodities like Urea, Limestone, Iron ore fines, Iron ore pellets, Coal, Steel coils, DAP in Mediterranean/ Red Sea/ PG/ EAFR-ECI/ ECI-WCI and Far East region. - Follow up on the vessels operation/ schedules and the implementation of company procedures in coordination with ships agents, stowage planner, ships command and other line departments.- Checking and clearing the FDA after the completion of voyage.
