I am currently pursuing a second master’s in Natural Product Applied Science at UST while working as a full-time student researcher at the Center for Natural Product System Biology, KIST Gangneung Institute. My research explores how gut microbiota-derived natural products influence muscle health and exercise capacity in aging.Previously, I earned a master’s in Zoology, specialising in Animal Physiology, where I conducted research in Parasitology with a focus on Leishmania donovani promastigotes. As a Medicine & Life Sciences reviewer, I honed my skills in scientific and language editing, deepening my appreciation for clear scientific communication and sparking an interest in scientific translation as I work to improve my Korean proficiency.I am fluent in English, Marathi, and Hindi, with elementary proficiency in German and Korean, which supports my collaboration in diverse, international research settings. My research interests include Immunology and Microbiology, with a newfound interest in Bioinformatics. Beyond academia, I am open to short-term internships that broaden my horizons and offer new experiences. Outside the lab, I find balance through language learning, exploring history and culture, and practicing calligraphy and painting—blending scientific rigour with creative and reflective pursuits.
