Among pioneer batch of TAs at Centre for Language Studies. Worked in the German and Bahasa Indonesia departments. Assisted professors and lecturers with preparing learning material and tools, and in the conduct of remote lessons and assessment. Observed expert educators and learnt about foreign language pedagogy. Improved proficiency in German and BI. Modules taught or supported: German 1, 2, 4 & 6, Indonesian 1 & 2.

Crafted business plan and developed MVP for a space-tech company. Built a working 3Dprinted electrothermal water-propelled microthruster. Successfully pitched idea at several competitions and raised funding.

First intern under the DSO-STAR internship programme. This was a virtual internship supported by DSO's Sensors Division where 3 months were spent with the Satellite Technology and Research Centre (STAR) at NUS and 3 months at ISAE-SUPAERO in Toulouse.Project involved the design of a failure detection and isolation algorithm for miniaturised control moment gyroscopes used in small satellites. Developed an innovative FDI method utilising null motion manoeuvres and shape analysis techniques. Opportunity was given to contribute and explore beyond the specific project, for instance in architecting technical content for showcase and outreach, participating in space conferences and attending relevant higher level classes.

Actively contributed to the building and testing of ESI's hybrid rocket engine prototype V2.1, on a part-time basis including weekend overseas travel. Work involved circuit design, microcontroller programming, component sourcing, electrical wiring, troubleshooting sensors and actuators, assisting with general electrical matters and electrical architecture design.

Apprenticed at this makerspace under the flagship Maker Apprenticeship Programme. Culminated in a hovercraft building project showcased at Maker Faire Singapore 2016. Worked in exchange for skills taught by experienced makers in the space. Utilised CNC machine, laser cutter, 3D printer, woodworking tools and power tools for projects.

Attached to the social enterprise start-up, concurrent with the programme at OMG (above). Worked on designing and fabricating low cost ramps for Boccia athletes from the Cerebral Palsy Association of Singapore. Participated in a lab series on making the GRAB app more inclusive of the Deaf and the visually impaired.

Overseas training in Brunei and Thailand. Served as Platoon 2IC and Deputy Manpower Officer in the 36th Battalion Singapore Combat Engineers. Job scope during tenure in unit included attending bomb calls, overseeing sweeps and organising the weekly Unit Learning Day. Led platoon through various security operations such as Shangri-La Dialogue 2015, SEA Games 2015, SAF50 Parade, among others. Attended Engineer Officer Advanced Course. Holding rank of Captain (NS). Marksman.

Part of the first batch of students inducted into the newly established 2-year-long Young Engineers Programme. The programme included opportunities to job shadow engineers and culminated in a futures-thinking project on UAVs.
