Writing has been my passion since 2004. Poems, funny stories and creative storytelling has always been my hobby. It started off as a motivation to get praise from others after reading my work, but gradually I started to pen down my experiences.Prior to my stint in content writing, I had 4 years of traveling experience with Thomas Cook India where I trotted the entire South East Asia and parts of Europe. Different cultures, interests, and passions fueled my desire to pen down everything and keep a record. I started various freelancing jobs for my friends in 2019 and started writing for them regarding various topics. This increased my desire to experiment. My actual stint with writing, however, started in 2020 when the COVID pandemic started and there was a travel ban. This gave me full freedom to experiment and I head dived into content writing. This was the first time my experience as a traveler, tour manager, and writer converged. This gave way to shaping me as a professional who has an instinct for creativity, vocabulary, and a passion for research. So, I freelanced with about half a dozen companies on various subjects ranging between the #automobile industry, #supplychain, #businesscontent, #webcontent, and home n decor. To upskill me, I then decided to do the advanced certificate in Digital Marketing from #MICA in association with #Upgrad. This specialization course helped me smooth out the rough edges and acclimate better to the whole industry of content writing and its digital transformation. These 3 years also introduced me to software like #Ahrefs, #WordPress, #Velocity (AI), #Nichesss, #Grammarly, #Hemmingway, and #WordTunes. During this time, I also got actively involved in #SEO, #SEM, and #SMM with various online platforms. It was because of all the myriad of experiences, I found the push to publish my first book on poetry "The Unvirgined Queen" which was accepted by both Amazon and Flipkart in collaboration with Bookleaf Publishings.I believe myself to be a digital strategy enthusiast who is looking for professional growth and a sea of opportunities. Today, India is transfiguring into a digital space where companies are looking for creative minds and I want to be a spectator as well as a participant in this era of transformation.
