Vaishali Thakur is an Assistant Professor at Woxsen University, specializing in cybersecurity, digital forensics, cloud computing, and malware detection. She holds an M. Tech in Computer Science Engineering, specializing in Information Security and Cyber Forensics, and a B. Tech in Cyber Security from Lovely Professional University.At Woxsen University, she designs and delivers courses on cybersecurity and related fields, encouraging critical thinking and mentoring students on research and career development. Prior to her academic role, Vaishali worked as a Cyber Security Analyst at SecureHack, where she focused on network security, vulnerability assessment, and incident response.Her research includes detecting malicious code in PDFs using machine learning, and her work has been published in IEEE and Springer. Vaishali has also developed a web application security scanner and a secure password manager. She holds certifications in Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, and Penetration Testing.
