Supported a variety of short and long term projects, including: a multiyear national hypertension and subsequent diabetes campaign that tracked, compared, and quantified improvements in performance based on hypertension quality metrics with quarterly reporting to over 100 healthcare organizations nationwide; an assessment of patient quit rates across physicians, practices, and health systems for a national quality-improvement learning collaborative that required developing a mixed effects logistic regression model to predict the probability of quitting as a function of patient variables; and a published comparison of diagnosed prevalence of hypertension to estimated prevalence using the CDC Hypertension Estimator Tool across 8.9 million adult patients. Tools used include SAS, Tableau, PPT and MS Excel. Performed quantitative analysis and predictive modeling using large datasets with clinical data from members’ electronic health records (EHR), mapped and normalized to allow valid, reliable comparisons, as well as billing data (outbound claims).
