VMC on AWS - Autoscaler Team- Owned end-to-end execution of Scale-in for VMC on AWS Outposts feature to recover the reserve capacity hosts consumed to scale out the cluster.- Devised an algorithm to recommend and notify the customer of an accurate target cluster storage utilization to safely scale-in SDDC cluster based on vSAN datastore metrics.- Implemented workflow for multi-host scaling during SDDC rolling upgrades on the entire VMC fleet of 1000+ clusters, to reduce degraded performance during upgrades. Collaborated with team members, industry and domain experts to conduct ground research, gather requirements, design and develop the modules of the REST-based MVC application, hosted on AWS EC2. My arsenal of skills grew wider with respect to designing and developing robust systems, managing production deployment, and subsequent issue handling. I led a team of interns and freelancers and being in startup ecosystem helped me hone my leadership and communication skills.Realizing the potential of our startup, we were brought under the net of Amazon Web Services (AWS)startup program and Auroapps was nominated for the India 500 Startup Awards by India 5000, 2019.

My final semester project was carried out in the Investment Management Division of Morgan Stanley as an intern. I implemented a system to analyze the sales performance of various products using statistical methods and help the sales team arrive at a targeted marketing strategy by providing various trends and insights. The huge corpus of sales data containing information such as client firms, fund categories, financial advisors to name a few were collated. Further, Sentiment Analysis was performed using Support Vector Machines on the client-financial advisors' interaction data which was subjected to text processing prior to the analysis. Correlation analysis was carried out using Pearson’s Method to observe and identify any relationship between sentiment outcome and the actual trade. Playing a key role, this exposure gave me the much-needed heads up to the industrial application of data science and its profound impact in generating revenue.
