Vaishnavi Murali is the founder of Eikowa Art, an art gallery started with the vision to democratize art in India. She is also an art collector and an artist, who had commercially sold her works. Eikowa is her second venture - her first was at the age of 19, a venture where she sold hand-painted sarees to revive the art of saree painting.With Eikowa, she has created a convenient platform for collectors to engage and discover new artists. As one of the most progressive platforms in the country, she has been going beyond fine art and experimenting with sculptures, traditional Indian Arts, and new media like photography, resins and paper. She has also conceptualized a visualization engine to help collector visualize shortlisted artwork in their homes, the first in the country to do so. In addition to Eikowa, she also works as a curator in her personal capacity. For her achievements and commitment to art, she was featured in the coveted Forbes 30 under 30, Asia list in 2017. She is an MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB).
