I lead teams to national level debate competitions at reputed institutions such as IIT Madras, SSN Chennai, NIT Surathkal, Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) and Mount Carmel College, Bangalore (MCC) among others. Selected to head the event The Lawst Cause – a blend of Moot Court and Debate. Part of the team that created 5+ original case studies in strategy and law exclusively for this event. Networked for Sponsorship and Judges while also managing social media and marketing for the event among colleges in and outside Chennai.

I worked closely with the tax computation team understanding the Income Tax Act’s various clauses and how they translate to calculations and deductions while performing tax calculations for clients. I delved into gaining hands-on skills in the accounting aspects of auditing as well, crafting bank reconciliation statements for clients and crafted analysis reports.

I explored audit and tax intricacies in my first view of how a chartered accountancy firm works. Worked closely with a team conducting a live audit of a client and got to know applications of various provisions and legal ramifications of accountancy policies left unchecked by auditors.
