• Monitoring, analysis, remediating and escalation of cyber security events.• Recognize potential; successful; and unsuccessful intrusion attempts and compromises thorough reviews and analyses of relevant event detail and summary information.• Services monitored will include, but are not limited to SIEM, IDS / IPS, Firewalls, and other security devices.• Perform technical security project implementations and meet project deadlines..• Perform risk assessments, followed by appropriate remedial action, to mitigate risk and ensure that systems are protected.• Develop remediation reports, addressing risk, vulnerability, and organizational progress,advise stakeholders and technical teams on vulnerabilities, criticality, impacts, and remediation to meet information security standards.• Contribute to IT risk identification, classification and response processes.• Provide technical security administrative duties for infrastructure related to firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection systems, vulnerability scanning, security monitoring tools, authentication, web filtering, and their associated logs and processes.• Development and execution of Standard Operating Procedures, Event Handlers and Job Aids required for successful task completion.• Assist with Incident / Problem and change management processes as required.• Research and stay up-to-date on current security threats and vulnerabilities to relevant information systems
