Developed and maintain four different Access database’s (Frontline GPS AsBuilts, Virtual Assignment Center, As-Built Scanning Center and Employee Daily Time Keeping) providing the details of data entry related to GPS AsBuilt information. And also have worked with Construction on several Access databases: Issue Queue, Evaluation tracking, Inspection tracking, Invoice tracking and Employee/Vehicle Management.

Complete the office and field computer replacement on location. Troubleshoot complex hardware and software problems. Conduct day after support with the end user. Inventory equipment as it transitions in and out of the warehouse. Verify and compare workstation and printer reports with division support. Compare NDS to PC-DUO inventory on a weekly basis. Reconcile workstations and printers for each division for the inventory conversion to a web-based system. Process paperwork for pallets of equipment to be returned to vendors. Remove old workstations and printers from the divisions and warehouse and return to vendor. Make sure pallets are laid out properly for shipment and an accurate count and inventory of each. Make sure that the software applications are able to work with that particular EWS and/or operating system. Make sure that that software application is able to work properly in that particular location. Verify with local PC Support that inventory is accurate.

Manage and keep track of software-licensing. Keep track of the various software versions that the company has installed on the Enterprise Workstations. Build and test images on various desktops, laptops, and ruggedized laptops. Also, setup and conduct a exchange of the new Enterprise workstations with the old machines; place the old ones on pallets and process the paperwork to either ship to the vendor and back to our warehouse. Do an inventory tracking of all the hardware and software for the desktops, laptops, printers, and servers throughout the company. Build a database in Access creating forms, reports, tables, queries, including macros to tie these all together. Also, I have converted the main tables over to Oracle and conduct monthly verification and maintenance through SQL Navigator 4.0. Now, I have started a process to convert this information to some other tables within another schema so we can use a new format across the web. Help design and maintain the inventory database through applications like Excel and Access. Also keep track of the various types of hardware and software through ZenWorks remote control and Novell Administrator, including Console One. Also maintain the EWS standards and the company’s ‘Standard Practices’ and ‘Corporate Policies and Procedures’ on the company’s InfoNet.

Troubleshoot Mainframe issues dealing with printing (such as not printing at all, print stuck in the queue, or printing to a different destination), signing onto the individual applications (CSS, CMS, MMIS, SYSM, and SUPERSESSION), including logged on too many times. Gather information on problems and redirecting these issues to the appropriate office section through the ARS application. Troubleshoot PC problems such as problems printing to a local or network printer, trying to log onto too many workstations, users unable to logon to the network through Novell or onto the workstation (Windows NT). Also, any problems with some of the other software that resides on the PC amongst the 2500 users connected to the company. Help with maintaining the Helpdesk Webpage. Use the Tivoli Remote application to connect to another PC to troubleshoot a problem prior to sending out PC Support. Use the ZenWorks Remote Control to troubleshoot and help with problems on users’ PC’s. Help to maintain a closing board with a small percentage of tickets to none left open.
