Val Polyakov is the Assessment and Evaluation Coordinator for AppleTree Institute. As the Assessment and Evaluation Coordinator, Val assists with the collection and management of student and classroom quality data. Val also contributes to the training of assessors (both external and internal), generating reports, and validating student and classroom quality data. Prior to working as the Assessment and Evaluation Coordinator, Val was a member of the external evaluation assessment team where he also served as a site lead managing the other external assessors at his assigned campus.

Val was the Senior Neuropsychological Technician for the BODY Lab of NYU Langone Medical Center, where he performed neuropsychological assessments in a research setting. Val has worked with a variety of different age groups in this research setting and has gained an extensive background in psychological testing. In addition to this hands-on experience, Val has also managed several student assessors, overseeing their training and learning.
