The Fair Deal for your Local Campaign started in Feb 2012 by Greg Mulholland MP to get legal protection for Publicans to stop the massive closures of Pubs.The successful campaign working group are FSB, CAMRA, GMB, FPB, GMV, Fair Pint, Justice for Licensees and Licensees Supporting Licensees. This campaign has recently won an amendment in HoP, over-turning the Government on the Market Rent Only option and the legislation has successfully passed its 3rd reading in The House of Lords. My part has been mostly public engagement using twitter, Making contact with and lobbying MP's, writing and presenting reports. speaking to Business Industry and Skills Dept. on behalf of LSL,making contact with and engaging the media and leading a national Licensees Support Group (LSL).

Together with my husband, we owned and managed The Cock at Lavenham pub and restaurant.

I own and manage an ethical jewellery business, Lunarte Originals. Lunarte Originals imports beautiful, ethnic and unique necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings from Colombia.

I managed large public houses with big food t/o and staff numbers in Central London & Essex. I was also the area trainer for new managers, area courses such as Food and Bar GP %, stocktaking, EHO and HSE laws & Customer service, some of which I wrote as bespoke items for the niche of central London. I was trainer for all new openings and refurbishments in my region, being involved in all aspects of project management, practical and financial. Within my trainer remit I was also involved in publican recruitment and publican representation.
