Serves as assistant to the Faculty and Administrative staff of the School of Public Health: including the Associate Dean of Academic and the Assistant Dean of Financial Affairs and the Coordinator for the Office of the Dean.

Prepare and distribute reports and correspondence. Maintain personnel files and adhere to Civil Service, hospital and departmental rules and regulations and policies.

Receive deliveries and processed all incoming shipments. Ensured adequate supplies for the out patients clinics. Retrieved medication from the Pharmacy Department to be delivered to the various clinics. Maintained equipment making sure equipment was clean sterilized and in working order and adequately kept in stocked. Maintained current dates on sterilized materials. Operated and maintained cleanliness of autoclave sterilization system. Assembling sets of instruments for clinical procedures.

Provide customer service for Labor and Delivery Unit. Maintain a accurate and up-to-date log of all patients on the Delivery Unit. Keep track of patients progress from labor to delivery. Relay all information to visitors and family of the different delivery stages of an expecting mother in a timely fashion. Assist doctors in locating patients. Answer phone and deliver messages in a timely fashion. Assist Unit Clerks and Nursing Staff as needed with patient information and transactions.
