Associates Degree (AAS) Baking and Pastry I'm truly passionate about what I do! Continually educating myself in my art and elevating my standards with each new learning experience. I would love to spend time working with other pastry chefs to train and learn new and different techniques to further excel in my profession. On LinkedIn I'm look to build my professional community with others of like mind as well as those I have worked with. As a member I am hoping to build a community of connections that I can bounce ideas off, ask questions of and overall receive inspiration from in order to grow and excel. Current I am working as the Pastry Chef at a small country club. I do not hold an executive position, I do run my department and set expectations on the product that we produce. I create menus and plate up designs, then confirm with our Executive Chef for a shared vision. I am also in charge of training others who work in my department of our expectations and basic pastry procedures and plate-ups, recipe consistently and testing, cleanliness and area organization, organization of storerooms, freezers and coolers and keeping up with inventory needs for my department.
