Under Valarie's leadership, OnShore Technology Group is one of Chicago's leading independent validation and verification (IV&V) firms. OnShore delivers comprehensive IV&V services and is the developer of the first innovative Enterprise Validation Management system marketed as ValidationMaster. OnShore Technology Group is the author of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Cloud Validation Toolkit. Valarie is a strong advocate for STEM education among America's youth and serves as a mentor to young women in disadvantaged communities. Valarie is also a Pullman Foundation Scholar and works with the Pullman Foundation to help kids achieve their academic goals. Valarie has won several business awards including Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year nominee, Count Me In M3 Award, Madam CJ Walker Outstanding business award and many others. Valarie has been featured in Crain's Chicago Business and Black Enterprise magazine focusing on her company's success and mentoring for STEM education. Valarie received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Wisconsin - Madison College of Engineering and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the UW Construction Club. In 2015, Valarie King-Bailey was recognized as one of the Notable Alumni Executives from the UW - Madison College of Engineering.
