As a Recruiter with Metropolitan Ministries, my passion is connecting great people who share our vision with an opportunity to find employment with a purpose. My entire career has been about connection. As a military spouse, each move brought new opportunities to help others connect their strengths to growth. Early in my career, as an Admissions Officer with the University of Florida, I helped great students find their home in the Gator Nation. And as a Public Relations Specialist with the United Way of America’s Headquarters, I connected local chapters with resources to help grow their community.As a volunteer, I helped hard-working adults learn English to help them succeed in their work. Later, as a Key Spouse, I was able to help other military spouses connect to resources and answers to help navigate military family life. Then a new move, and a new opportunity, turned into 10 years of connecting kids to a life-long love of learning, as a substitute, then a full-time Elementary School Language Arts teacher. Most recently, as working with purpose often does, I found an opportunity to help great people work towards great vision as team-members with Metropolitan Ministries here in Tampa Bay.
