What happens when a small-town, rural-Alberta girl moves to the “big city” to pursue a career in music? She becomes a marketer.But don’t feel bad for me. That punchline isn’t as unfortunate as it sounds. As it happens, marketing is the perfect amalgamation of creativity and criticism! It’s art and analysis, frustration and fun, all rolled into one. Which makes it a pretty damn good fit for me, and I just might be the right fit for you.In 2016, I left my safe, big(ish)-agency job. I spent a bit of time hanging out with the cool, non-profit Arts kids for a couple of months. Following a super-fun and successful run as Community Animator of Culture Days, I launched By Jove Co. What’s a “By Jove Co.”?Well, I’m so glad you asked! We’re a small branding and marketing company and we work with organizations to inject a little bit of POW into their biz. We like working with good people who value integrity and aren’t afraid to try something new and take a risk.
